Beijing Valve General Factory Co., Ltd., formerly known as Beijing Valve General Factory, was established in 1952. It is one of the pioneering enterprises under China's newly founded Ministry of Machinery Industry, specializing in the manufacturing of medium- and high-pressure valves as well as steam traps. The company serves as the chairman unit of the Valve Industry Association, a member of the Valve Standardization Technical Committee, a director unit of the Special Equipment Safety and Energy Conservation Promotion Association, and has been recognized as a "Key Contract-Honoring and Trustworthy Enterprise" and an "Integrity Enterprise" by Beijing Municipality.
